Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is one of the wirehaired, versatile
hunting dog breeds. As an energetic companion in the field, the WPG
covers ground quickly and leaves no stone unturned in his quest to
find game for his master. Often referred to as the clown of
the wirehaired pointing breeds the Griff is known for its great
personality and temperament. The WPG
is not only an accomplished pointer and tracker, but like many of
the versatile breeds, has a natural retrieving ability and excels on
both land and water.
